Direction is more important than effort

After entering a company, what direction should you strive for in the future? When I ask this question to newbies in the workplace, many are puzzled, and some simply answer "haven't thought about it." In their minds, getting hired is the goal, and as for the future, working hard will solve everything. In fact, determining the direction of your efforts is crucial, as the clarity of your direction directly determines your career success. Your work direction and goals are different from your life dreams. It is more specific, clear, and closely related to your job. It consists of a clear direction and a series of specific phased goals. Those who approach their work with a negative attitude of "try and if it doesn't work, then switch jobs" will not have a clear direction or goals. Therefore, the prerequisite for setting direction and goals is to be dedicated to your job.

A dedicated worker is always someone with clear goals, firm beliefs, unwavering faith, and an active and strong sense of subjectivity. Because the direction is clear, there is no need to worry about what the boss thinks, and they will spontaneously work hard; there is no need for guidance from others, as they will consciously move towards their established goals. The progress of this kind of person is often astonishing, and their success is undoubtedly fast. Goals are the direction of doing anything well. No matter where you are or what environment you are in, you cannot be without goals! Many newcomers to the workplace have made no progress after a few years because they lack clear goals and, of course, cannot make sufficient efforts. Go with the flow and have a long-term vision. How far you can go depends on how far you can see. Goals determine the height of your life. Be good at discovering your potential for success, analyzing reality, and foreseeing the future. Success cannot be achieved without starting from the grassroots, but you cannot always stay at the grassroots level. "A soldier who doesn't want to be a general is not a good soldier." When the progress towards achieving goals is not smooth, believe that there are always more solutions than difficulties, and the so-called difficulties are just not finding good ways to solve the problems.
